Lauren has extensive travel experience, having explored almost 20 countries across South America (Galapagos Islands), the Caribbean, and Europe.  Lauren holds a Masters in Social Work and is certified as a NAUI open-water scuba diver.  Her travels have led her to conduct international research in two countries; her research on community-based tourism and 

empowerment in vulnerable communities has been presented at international conferences and published in peer-reviewed journals. Lauren is dedicated to understanding local cultures and giving her guests an unforgettable experience while maintaining integrity and sustainability of the host country.  The trips Lauren hosts will always be very adventurous and educational, with the community voice being of utmost importance.  Join her on her next transformational journey!
