Lauren has extensive travel experience, having explored almost 20 countries across South America (Galapagos Islands), the Caribbean, and Europe. Lauren holds a Masters in Social Work and is certified as a NAUI open-water scuba diver. Her travels have led her to conduct international research in two countries; her research on community-based tourism and
empowerment in vulnerable communities has been presented at international conferences and published in peer-reviewed journals. Lauren is dedicated to understanding local cultures and giving her guests an unforgettable experience while maintaining integrity and sustainability of the host country.
